The Springfield Public Works Department is taking comments on a Traffic Calming Project at Cherry Street and Pickwick Avenue through August 21.
The project concept provides crosswalks with bulb-outs and a speed hump on Cherry Street between Fremont Avenue and Weller Avenue to make pedestrian crossings shorter and more visible and reduce speed on Cherry Street.
The only change related to bicycling would be slower motor traffic.
